"Commitment to Excellence"
The young men of Saint Louis School unanimously voted to be acknowledged with the Po`okela Award. Teachers nominate students for things they do inside and outside of classroom to encourage and recognize the young man’s commitment to excellence.
Students are honored on a weekly basis from grades 5-12th, who exemplify the meaning of excellence to their brothers, school, and community.

Grade 5: Kaleo Aloha Piceno for being an incredible friend and putting the needs of his friends before his own.
Grade 6: Kainalula'akea Paikai for exemplifying good behavior and exhibiting a positive attitude.
Grade 7: McKenna Mau for exemplifying good behavior and his commitment to excel in his academics.
Grade 8: James Los Banos for his dedication and commitment to excel in his acadmics.
Grade 9: Michael Fanning for exemplifying the characteristics of a Saint Louis Man in an emergency situation.
Grade 10: Eli Biondine for exemplifying the spirit of brotherhood and the characteristics of a Saint Louis Man.
Grade 11: Nam Ngo for his dedication and participation in school wide activities.
Grade 12: Raphael Ramos for exemplifying the spirit of brotherhood and his leadership with the LIFE Team.

Grade 10: Gabriel "Gabby" Balaias for exemplifying overall leadership and dedication to academic excellence.
Grade 11: Sean Tolentino for his involvement and dedication in helping with the Junior Division and school wide activities.
Grade 12: Rich Raquel for being an exemplary student and his leadership in the Executive Student Council and the National Honor Society.
