Students are required to complete two credits of mathematics courses in order to graduate.  This must include geometry.  Students are encouraged to take mathematics every year.

Many courses require the use of a calculator.  While classroom sets of TI-83 Plus calculators are available for student in-class use, it is highly recommended that students have their own calculator.  For the sake of uniformity, the calculator of choice is the TI-83 Plus.

In the high school, we offer the following courses:

Foundations of Math II

Pre-Algebra

Algebra I

Algebra II

Algebra III

Geometry

Trigonometry

Analytic Geometry

AP Calculus

In the Lower School, we offer grade-appropriate mathematics courses.  Students in the eighth grade may be enrolled, through recommendation, in Algebra I.  These students will cover the same curriculum as the high school students and will be awarded high school credit upon successful completion of the course.

In addition to courses offered, our students also participate in mathematics contests.  The lower grades participate in the annual Papahana and Math Counts.  The high school students who are members of the school's Math Club compete monthly in a competition sponsored by the Oahu Mathematics League.
