SAINT LOUIS SCHOOL RECEIVES $28,075 GRANT FROM
FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK FOUNDATION
HONOLULU
- Saint Louis School has been given $28,075 by the First Hawaiian Bank Foundation, the charitable
arm of First Hawaiian Bank. The grant will be used to replace the scoreboards at the campus football field
and in the McCabe Gymnasium.
"We are so grateful for the kindness of the First Hawaiian Bank Foundation,"
said Father Allen Delong, Saint Louis School Headmaster, "the grant will help instill pride among our students.
They will be reminded that their community supports them each time a point is scored."
"We are pleased to provide the resources to replace two existing scoreboards on the
Saint Louis School campus," said Sharon Shiroma Brown, President of First Hawaiian Bank Foundation.
"Athletics provide a healthy outlet for our young people and helps to build character as well."
First Hawaiian Bank Foundation is the charitable arm of First Hawaiian Bank.
During 2005 the foundation and bank contributed $2.9 million to more than 330 non-profit organizations.
The foundation funds educational opportunities, access to health care, services for children and youth,
