Hawaiian historian and artist, Brook Kapukuniahi Parker, will give a Hawaiian cultural presentation on "Honoring Your Kupuna Through Your Talents." Through his art and by sharing stories of Hawaiian history, specializing in Hawaiian chiefs and warriors, Brook inspires and reminds us of our kuleana (responsibility). A self-taught artist influenced by notable Hawaiian artists like David Parker (his dad) and Herb Kane, Brook‘s artwork can be seen around the world and in various publications. He has been sought to speak to many groups, including most recently the UH Warrior Football Team.
