The Saint Louis School Learning and Resource Center (LRC) is located on the 3rd floor of historic Bertram Hall. The LRC is open for students to use during school hours. The east side of the LRC is where our Counseling Center is located. Grade 9-12 School Counselors, the College Counselor, and the Dean of Registration's office is located here; allowing students access to Counselors and the Registrar to support their various academic and social needs. This spacious location has Wi-Fi access and provides a comfortable learning environment for students to complete assignments, study for tests, work on projects, and work in groups. Support staff supervision is available to assist students throughout the day. This LRC is a little different from the traditional libraries most people think of. Like a traditional library, there are thousands of books to borrow containing many classics in literature. In addition, our LRC contains a remarkable collection of books about Hawaii's history, culture, language, and the arts. However, our LRC is a place where students can actively work without worrying about being completely silent as is with a library. Most of the time, students work quietly and independently in the LRC. On the other hand, there are times when specific classes are being taught in the LRC that require students to actively participate with each other. The Hours of Operation for the Learning and Resource Center are: Monday - Thursday 7:40 AM to 4:30 PM Friday 7:40 AM to 1:00 PM |
