The Cooperative Learning Leadership Team will be meeting on our campus this coming Thursday, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. The team will be meeting to touch base on how each participating school is benefiting from the summer training. The team will then break out into smaller teams and conduct observations of teachers who attended Cooperative Learning trainings in the past two years.
Thursday, August 30 is a Schedule "B" so please plan to be visited during periods 2 or 3. If you would like to volunteer to be visited, please e-mail me so that I can ensure you are included on the list of observations. The team understands that we are in YEAR 1 of training...so if you can ensure that you have your class teams already set up and objectives on the board, use of the Quiet Signal, structures (if possible) that would be wonderful. We are learning along with all the other schools who are implementing the Model...so it is valuable for us to see where each school is at professionally.
The Team will travel to a different school each month to conduct the same feedback meeting and observations of teachers. St. Louis happens to be the first school in the cycle. Please let me know if you would like to be observed and the time frame of the observation.
